About Neil
Hi, my name is Neil! I did my Leaving Cert in 2024, and am currently studying the BSc in Nursing (General) at Trinity College Dublin. As someone who recently completed the Leaving Cert, I understand the pressures that are placed on students to excel in all of their subjects, and am no stranger to a variety of study methods, that I am happy to share. Despite continuing on to study Nursing, the Irish and French language remain a strong passion of mine. In 6th year, I would estimate I spent a large proportion of my time studying these subjects [math was not my strong point :)] and have developed different methods that worked well for me, when studying these subjects.

I strongly encourage the incorporation of languages into many aspects of daily life, whether that be watching shows, or listening to music or a podcast in a different language. I believe that learning is a personalized and individual experience, and am happy to create different learning plans, to accommodate different methods of learning. I understand that making progress with a language can seem difficult or slow, due to the lack of tangible evidence when reflecting on your learning, but over time, you can accumulate and develop the skills to speak, understand and efficiently produce cohesive work in the language you are trying to learn!
