About Meera
My passion for economics stems from a fascination with human behaviour, markets, and societal systems. Over eight years, I have combined study, research, and teaching to make the subject accessible, engaging, and meaningful. Guiding students to understand complex concepts and apply them practically is deeply rewarding, particularly when they gain confidence and insight. I teach with clarity, patience, and adaptability, recognising that each learner processes information differently. I emphasise critical thinking, analysis, and practical examples to help students grasp concepts deeply. Lessons are interactive and personalised to ensure every student feels supported and motivated. Beyond the classroom, I follow current economic developments, research methodologies, and policy debates to provide students with relevant and up-to-date insights. Economics is not just a subject—it is a lens for understanding the world, and helping students see it clearly is my greatest fulfilment.

Economics provides the tools to understand human behaviour, markets, and global systems. My lessons aim to make economics both engaging and accessible, emphasising conceptual clarity, analytical thinking, and practical application. Students learn to connect theoretical models to real-world situations, exploring topics such as supply and demand, market structures, fiscal and monetary policy, and international trade. I create a positive and supportive environment where learners feel confident to ask questions, debate ideas, and critically analyse economic phenomena. Beginners focus on foundational concepts, including basic supply and demand, opportunity cost, and economic systems. Intermediate learners explore microeconomics and macroeconomics, market behaviour, and cost analysis. Advanced students study policy evaluation, econometrics, market strategy, and critical thinking applied to economic decision-making. Lessons integrate case studies, practical exercises, assignments, and exam preparation to ensure students gain analytical skills alongside conceptual understanding. As students advance, economics develops critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic reasoning. They learn to analyse complex situations, evaluate data, and make informed decisions. My goal is for students to leave lessons with a deeper understanding of economic principles, the ability to apply them practically, and confidence in analysing and interpreting real-world markets.
