About Lisa
Hi I’m Lisa, originally from Okinawa, and I spent 10 years as a traditional singer before coming to Ireland. Moving from Japan to a completely different culture taught me how challenging it can be to learn a new language especially when it’s far from your own and you don’t have many chances to speak with native speakers. My goal is to bring the language and culture to you in a natural, comfortable way, so you can learn real conversation, understand cultural nuances, and feel more connected to Japan. I want you to feel confident, supported, and a little closer to the country behind the language. I’m friendly and patient, and we’ll make learning Japanese fun!
