About Thea
I hold a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, with 12 years of experience teaching students from diverse academic backgrounds. My academic training allowed me to explore mathematics both theoretically and practically, helping me explain abstract ideas in clear, relatable ways that support deep understanding. My teaching approach emphasizes patience, structure, and encouragement. I carefully observe how students engage with problems and adjust my explanations to meet their individual needs. I believe that when students feel supported and understood, they gain the confidence needed to tackle challenging topics with determination. Beyond teaching, I remain actively involved with mathematics through problem exploration, curriculum refinement, and continuous learning. Teaching mathematics is meaningful to me because I see students transform uncertainty into clarity, developing confidence and reasoning skills that benefit them well beyond the classroom.
