About Thomas
I'm a recent biology graduate from the University of Bristol, now working as science editor and writer. My job is to understand complex science and communicate it in a clear, concise, and engaging way, and this comes in very handy when it comes to teaching others. I have over three years of tutoring experience, spanning from private tutoring at GCSE and A-level through to delivering group learning sessions of up to 30 university students. I obtained 10 A*s at GCSE and achieved four A-graded qualifications in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Geography at A-Level. In 2017, I was awarded the University of Bristol Biological Sciences Best Student after achieving the highest grade in the cohort. Both my dissertation and literature review were graded as publishable in standard. I pride myself on being approachable, patient and fully committed to all those I teach.
