About Samuel
Having achieved A*s in Maths and Physics at GCSE level, I was asked to tutor year 10s and 11s in my school, Mossbourne Community Academy, in preparation for their mocks and GCSEs respectively.
I received very positive feedback of improvement in academic performance from both the students and their teachers.
I have taken that experience forward into university; in my first year I set up 3 study groups dedicated to different modules. In the group we took turns explaining difficult concepts from scratch and marking each others work.
Due to the pandemic we have opted to carry this on via Zoom, so I have become acquainted with using virtual tools to teach.

My methodology is simple: firstly, gain a solid understanding of the theory. Then do as many practice questions as possible. Then reflect upon them to re-enforce that theory.
In general I prefer not to tell you the answer, rather I want to help you understand the process and reach the answer yourself - that way you'll be able to get there on your own next time! I will concentrate on your chosen subject, and we'll focus our efforts on the parts you're struggling with.
