About Dev
Hi, I'm Dev! I've been tutoring and mentoring for about 4 years now. The method I use to tutor has been pretty successful. I've picked up these skills throughout my education but particularly recently at Oxford where I'm taught many times a week by researchers. I also tutor for the University of Oxford's COMPOS programme! So if you are planning to apply to Oxford or Cambridge for physics/engineering/maths/materials you will be able to learn a lot from me.

I am a third year student at the University of Oxford studying Physics. I like to guide students to solutions instead of handing them the answers. This is much like the method used by Oxford and Cambridge tutors in interviews and tutorials/supervisions. This means that my students are well equipped to handle Oxbridge interviews. Lessons are typically 1h but can extend to however long the student wants it to be! I've been tutoring and mentoring for 3 years now and have helped people to secure places at Oxford and Cambridge for physics and engineering. I gained a distinction in my first year (the highest possible grade), and a first in second year with an average of 80%. At A-Level I received A*'s in Maths, Further Maths and Physics, and an A in Chemistry.
