I am a 20 year old student at the university of Edinburgh who loves cooking, museums and skiing. The challenge of learning a new language has always been a passion of mine and I would love to share this passion with you guys!

Although I believe that one must place a large importance on grammar, I find it is something to work on outside the lesson.When teaching languages I like to focus on the practical side - I will usually have the student discuss a short video, conversation or text. I also encourage my students to prepare their own extract/text that they have found before the lesson. I am a TEFL qualified tutor and I use the techniques learned there when teaching French and German. I spent a year tutoring maths to primary school children and used this experience to continue my tutoring informal. I usually try to keep my lessons to 45 mins.
