About Sumithra
I am passionate about teaching as I believe my experiences from both the academic world of teaching and lecturing as well as my hands on experience from the accounting, finance and higher management roles will guide the students for a better understanding of the subject matter. I believe each and every student can shine if they were guided in an appropriate way and by understanding every student's individuality. No student should be treated as a weak student, every one of them has their own potential and their unique set of skills and talents that can be tapped into and enhanced.

My first lesson is always an assessment session where I observe and assess student's level of understanding on the subject. I also try to grasp the main strengths and weaknesses during this session. I have short tests for the purpose of this session.
Eventually, I modify my lesson plan for each student based on the key focus area which is needed specifically according to their strengths and weaknesses and also their pace.
I update students as well as parents on a monthly basis on their progress as well as action plans to improve if there is any areas that needs improvements.
