About Shatabda
Hello! I’m Shatabda, a dedicated and friendly tutor with a strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, built through both academic training and professional experience. I hold a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (Finance) and am currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting at Langara College, where I also served as a peer tutor, helping students simplify and master challenging concepts. Previously, I worked at Goldman Sachs, where I gained real-world insight into financial operations, trade analysis, and risk management—experience that allows me to make lessons practical and relevant. My approach is interactive, patient, and tailored to your needs, whether you’re a high school student, undergraduate, or a Canadian CPA candidate. I believe in building confidence through clarity, practice, and encouragement, and I take pride in helping students feel empowered in subjects that once felt overwhelming. As a tutor, I, Shatabda, specialize in simplifying complex accounting and finance concepts so students not only understand them but can apply them with confidence. With a background in Business Administration (Finance) and current studies in a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting, I bring both academic and real world experience including my time at Goldman Sachs and as a peer tutor at Langara College.
