That's why I like to offer a wide range of possibilities and discover together with each student which is the best way to go. And the answer is always in the tastes, desires and expectations of the one who is learning. I believe that technique, improvisation, the notions of composition, theory and musical analysis must be learned through the music that you want to play and the music that you already know how to play. And not as abstract knowledge. The best way to assimilate music is to play it and face the challenges that each piece, song or composition offers. It is important to remember that you can make music from the beginning regardless of your level or age.

Después de pasar por varios profes caí con Rodrigo por casualidad. La verdad es que fue un acierto, totalmente diferente a lo que estaba acostumbrada. Aprendí un montón de cosas, pero sobre todo aprendí que la música contemporánea también puede ser cercana y emocionante.
Las clases de composición con Rodrigo han sido una experiencia totalmente distinta a lo que había vivido en el conservatorio. En el conservatorio las clases eran super rígidas y demasiado académicas, mientras que con Rodrigo descubrí un enfoque mucho más abierto, creativo y personal.
Hace mucho incapié en que no se trata solo de aprender reglas o técnicas, sino de encontrar tu propia voz musical y explorarla con libertad, pero siempre con una guía clara y profunda. Rodrigo combina su gran experiencia académica con una mirada fresca y motivadora, lo que hace que cada clase sea inspiradora.
Recomiendo sus clases a cualquier persona interesada en la composición, ya sea que vengas del mundo clásico, del jazz, del cine o de la música popular. Es un lugar donde realmente sientes que puedes crecer como músico y como creadorRodrigo es un excelente profesor, muy agradable y paciente. A mi hija le encanta dar clases con el.
