About Holly
Holly is an enthusiastic and pro-active tutor from Croydon/Bromley and has been playing the guitar and ukulele for many years. Holly specialises in the acoustic guitar and has a Grade 8 distinction, she also has a triple distinction* in the Btec Popular Music Extended Diploma. Holly is a member of RGT and can put students through for grades examinations, for which she has a 100% pass rate. As well as preparing students for practical exams, Holly is also able to teach and prepare students for Theory grades. Holly is a member of the Musicians Union and has an up to date enhanced DBS check and she has had experience teaching students across a wide age range.
As well as teaching privately from home, Holly also teaches the guitar and ukulele in Primary and Secondary schools. She has also previously worked as a learning support worker, assisting supported learners with learning music. Holly is herself a singer-songwriter and is able to help students with their own performance and composition skills, helping them to develop as musicians. Holly is able to assist students who are looking to study GCSE Music, or students who are preparing for an audition or exam.

Lessons are planned according to the learners goals and ability level. All ages are welcome from ages four upwards. Lessons are designed to be fun, creative and informative. As a friendly and outgoing tutor, all my students are made to feel welcome. All styles of guitar are taught as well as music theory, songwriting and performance skills. Both graded and leisure play are taught.
