About Meg
I have spent nearly a decade working in theater, TV, film, and commercials. Credits include: HBO's Boardwalk Empire, Peacock's Mr. Mercedes, NBC's Mysteries of Laura, ABC's Nashville, and FX's American Horror Story. I am currently in production for a new series on Peacock and am in the middle of directing my first film, shooting in Los Angeles, CA. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have! Acting is such a personal vocation - all about finding what works best for YOU. We'll work together to uncover your most grounded and connected work as well as confidence in the material. I'm particularly passionate about helping actors from the theater transition into TV/film. Each lesson, we will work on a scene together - many of these scenes are from shows I have either auditioned for or been in. If you are already an actor with an audition to prepare, even better! We'll dive in focusing on how to bring yourself to the material and create a connected and grounded performance. I also like to transition students from scene study into skills needed for a real-world audition. As we get comfortable with the scene, we will then put it on tape so that the student can learn audition and camera technique. We want you ready for anything!
