About Gabrielle
I am a 22-year-old university student who has lived in Melbourne for 1.5 years now. Originally from Singapore, I have extensive knowledge of Malay culture and grew up learning the language all throughout primary, secondary, and high school. I understand that learning it can be hard when you might not speak it at home, so I hope to inspire more confidence in people to learn it.

I have tutored a friend's younger sister when she was 9 to 10 years old. She now has more confidence in the language. I use a lot of Malay songs in my lessons as I find that it is a fun way to learn. I also use flashcards when teaching Peribahasa. Lessons are typically an hour long but can go for longer if needed. I teach ages 7-18.
