About FLORENCE

I’m a practicing actuary who loves math and knows how to make it enjoyable and easy to follow.

I teach Grade 1–9 students with patient, adaptable lessons that keep attention and build confidence.

Math can feel like an escape to a world of logic and creativity, and I’ll show students how to see the fun in it too, even if it’s not everyone’s cup of tea!

About the lesson

My Approach
I focus on making math clear, practical, and stress-free. I adapt to each student’s learning style, break concepts into simple steps, and build confidence through guided practice.

Typical Lesson
Quick review → clear explanation of a new concept → practice together → independent problem-solving with support.

What Sets Me Apart
As an actuary, I use math every day and know how to turn complex ideas into easy, relatable ones. Je parle français aussi!

Who It’s For
Beginner to high school (Grade 1 to Grade 9) students who want stronger foundations, better grades, and more confidence in math.
