My name is Josef and my surname is Marcus.
I am a Qualified teacher ( 4 years training) living in south Africa. My passion in live is teaching! My first language is Afrikaans although i am also English speaking. I have been a teacher for 12 years. Also been a principle for 2 years. Teaching afrikaans is one of the most rewarding things for me because it is such a beautiful language.

Teaching any Language requires different techniques. Every teacher has his or her own way of teaching certain skills. In my experience as an afrikaans teacher, it is important to combine different methods of teaching especially according to the level of advancement. The same with online teaching. Apps and programs like Whats app, Telegram, E-mail, Skype and many other apps and programs make it so much easier to learn a Language these days and the interaction with the students so much more personal! I'm looking forward having you on our Family of Afrikaans learning students!!
