Teaching Method & Techniques
I combine structured learning with creative exploration. Each lesson focuses on a clear concept (like shading, anatomy, or color harmony) and applies it through hands-on exercises and projects. I emphasize:
Step-by-step demonstrations to break down complex techniques
Visual references and examples to strengthen observation skills
Constructive feedback to encourage growth without pressure
Creative challenges that push students to think independently
For beginners, I focus on the foundations — line, proportion, light, and color.
For advanced students, we dive into composition, storytelling, and refining personal style.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-Up (5–10 mins): Quick sketch or technique drill to loosen up.
Concept Focus (15–20 mins): Short demonstration and discussion of the topic.
Guided Practice (30–40 mins): Students create while I offer feedback and tips.
Review & Reflection (10 mins): Discuss progress, identify strengths, and set next steps.
Every class is customized — I adapt pacing and exercises based on your goals, whether that’s improving realism, learning portrait art, or experimenting with new media.
