About Faye
My journey into architecture began with a deep curiosity about how spaces influence emotions, movement, and daily experience. This curiosity led me to complete a B.Arch in Architectural Studies, where I developed a strong foundation in design theory, spatial reasoning, and visual communication. Over the past 9 years, I have worked closely with students from diverse backgrounds, helping them translate abstract ideas into clear and expressive architectural concepts.
I believe architecture education should nurture creativity while providing strong structural guidance. My teaching style is patient, observant, and adaptive. I take time to understand each learner’s thought process, offering feedback that refines ideas without limiting originality. I encourage students to explore freely while gradually building discipline and clarity in their work.
Beyond teaching, I stay connected to architecture through design analysis, sketching practice, and ongoing study of contemporary architectural projects. Teaching architecture is deeply meaningful to me because I see students gain confidence in their creative identity. Supporting their growth as thoughtful designers motivates my work every day.

Architecture lessons focus on helping learners understand how thoughtful ideas become functional, meaningful spaces. I guide students through core architectural principles such as spatial organisation, form development, proportion, scale, material awareness, and basic structural logic. Lessons emphasise design thinking rather than imitation, allowing learners to explore creativity within clear conceptual boundaries. Visual references, sketching exercises, and guided discussions help students develop confidence in expressing ideas.
As learners progress, lessons expand into site analysis, circulation planning, environmental response, and conceptual storytelling. Beginners focus on observation, freehand sketching, and basic design exercises. Intermediate learners work on refining concepts, improving presentation clarity, and strengthening spatial logic. Advanced learners focus on portfolio development, project justification, and creative consistency. Feedback and reflection are central to every lesson.
Learning architecture builds patience, observation, and creative problem-solving. Students grow more confident in their ideas and visual communication. My goal is to help learners develop a strong design voice supported by logical thinking and professional discipline.
