About Rachel
I am currently a student at Berklee College of Music. I am studying in Music Business and my love for music is so strong. I have been singing since I was 10 years old. I am very knowledgable about technique with your voice and different pallets in your voice to create different sounds. Having a past of vocal problems, I learned a lot about how the voice works. I am from New Jersey and have done a lot of gigs in the area and New York, Boston, and Philadelphia.

For voice lessons I like to start off with learning You and what You enjoy to sing! I'd like to hear your goals so we can work to accomplish them. Everyone learns differently so after we learn each other we will officially get started. Warming up with scales, and vocal exercises is very important so we should start with that. (It's fun don't worry.. I have even learned to love singing scales!) Then, we will typically work on a piece of your choice. I am able to access where the sounds are coming from and together we can learn how your body works so we can sing from the correct positions.
For Music Theory and Ear Training I will start off by asking you what you know, and what your goals are. I personally enjoy arranging and if you are interested in creating your own music, I would be happy to teach you the proper strategies to creating an awesome chord progression. If it is your first time, we will make sure you learn a really great basis to bring you where you want to go!
