About Lucy
I'm a practicing artist currently working from my studio in Manchester. During my time studying fine art at university and working towards becoming a professional painter, I realised that not much practical painting tuition was offered by the tutors. It was because of this that I spent an exchange year at a painting school in Portugal where I was able to learn practical oil painting and watercolour skills. From these experiences I have been able to gain valuable knowledge with both practical skills such as painting and drawing as well as more theory based, academic knowledge. I am passionate about passing this knowledge onto others and helping people learn how to express themselves artistically.

I am a professional artist with a first class fine art degree. As a figurative painter I have studied various drawing and painting techniques and I'm able to teach these practical skills to both children and adults as well as more academic guidance up to degree level.
I offer a free first session so we can discuss what you would like to gain from the tutoring sessions and from there I will create a plan to help you achieve your goals. Whether you are a complete beginner, a practicing artist or a student, I am happy to assist you on your journey at a pace that suits your needs.
