English Grammar: From Basic → Advanced --- Level 1: Basic Grammar Foundations 1. Parts of Speech (8 main categories): Noun – book, teacher, happiness Pronoun – he, she, they Verb – run, is, eat Adjective – big, beautiful Adverb – quickly, always Preposition – in, on, at, under Conjunction – and, but, because Interjection – wow!, oh! --- 2. Sentence Structure Subject + Verb + Object (SVO) → She eats an apple. Kinds of sentences: Declarative (I like coffee.) Interrogative (Do you like coffee?) Imperative (Please sit down.) Adjective clause: The book that I bought is great. Adverb clause: I’ll go when I finish work. --- 14. Inversion & Emphasis Never have I seen such beauty.
