I had singing lessons with Ella for 3 years and learnt so much about how to control the quality of my voice. Ella’s style of teaching really allowed me to choose the focus of each lesson so, with her guidance, I achieved my goal of controlling the breath in my voice. Ella’s supportive teaching style allowed me to gain confidence in my own voice which led to me performing in my school band several times, an amazing experience which I may not have pursued had it not been for Ella’s encouragement during our lessons.

Ella gave me a package of 6 singing lessons. Her way of teaching is energetic and motivating and demonstrates a high level of technical knowledge. Her coaching style takes you into the mysterious region of the vocal folds to enable you to get a feel for what is happening and how we can gain control over the sound we produce. She teaches plenty of very useful vocal exercises to help warm up the voice and help master different styles of singing. I appreciate that in 6 classes I can only get a flavour of the time and effort required to learn to sing well, but nonetheless, Ella's great lessons have had a positive effect on my singing; the quality of sound I produce and my confidence. She is a true professional and I recommend her.

I’ve known of Ella for more than 20 years, when I first heard her sing informally whilst she was still studying at music college. Fast forward a few years, and we met again when she auditioned as a singer for a band I had put together.
