About Jarif
Hi! I’m Jarif, a second-year Medicine student at Monash University.
I graduated with a 99.60 ATAR, achieving 97+ scores across my senior subjects. I’ve always enjoyed Maths and Science and love helping students understand concepts they initially find difficult.
I’ve tutored students from Years 5–11 in both one-on-one and small-group settings, helping with difficult topics, schoolwork, assessments and extension work.
I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where students can build confidence while developing a strong understanding of the subject.
Whether you need extra support, stronger foundations or a challenge, I’ll be there to help :)

I keep lessons relaxed and interactive, adapting each session to what the student needs.
■ Review: Check their current understanding and identify areas to work on.
■ Learn: Explain new concepts clearly with examples.
■ Practice: Work through questions together before trying some independently.
■ Challenge: Add harder or extension questions when appropriate.
■ Wrap-up: Review key points and what to focus on next.
I can also help with homework, tests and assignments. My goal is for students to leave each lesson feeling more confident and thinking, “Oh, that actually makes sense now.”

Jarif is known to us through our friends.
He is teaching math to our youngest son for couple of months. Jarif’s teaching method is excellent and very much student friendly. My son is doing well and he always loves to take a lesson with Jarif. I wish Jarif for his future success!Jarif is an incredible tutor. He has deep understanding of concepts and is able to communicate these in a very effective and simple manner. He is flexible with the help he provides and has a professional attitude towards his students. Would definitely recommend him for physics.
