best she can, in order to make your child succeed. She really knows how

on these. She has also taught my son various exam techniques which she

Attiya has been teaching maths and English to my daughter since August 2022. When I was told by my daughter’s school that she may need to sit the 11+ exam (such a daunting task). Since studying with Attiya my daughter improved considerably which resulted in the fact that she did not need to sit the 11+. I’m very grateful to Attiya for helping my daughter improve on her maths and English skills.

I was having difficulty in finding a tutor for my son initially and it took me a while but as soon as I read Attiya’s background and experience, I knew immediately it would be the right choice and I was right. I knew my son needed a bit of a boost with English and Attiya supported him with this. I was also trying to see if my son had the potential of being awarded a scholarship and Attiya has extensive experience with this and with independent schools in general. She knows what these schools are looking for and will provide advice and guidance. However most important of all she was great with my son. He was at great ease when being tutored by Attiya and I think that is one of her great qualities. I think that is an important aspect as attending tuition is not the most fun thing to do for a child! My son was awarded a scholarship at his current school with the help of Attiya. I would definitely recommend Attiya for tuition to support both child and parents.

I booked a session with Attiya for " Parent consultation" Attiya was great in advising me in how should I decide which school would be the best for my child. The advice was on point and extremely detailed. It wasn't what I would like to hear, but it was the truth based on logic and reasoning. I found it highly useful and feel that my decision is made. I would highly recommend a parent consultation with Attiya before making these big decisions.

I have known Attiya for a very long time and have always seen her as a good role model. As a young teenager Attiya not only guided me through the process of what secondary school, college and University to attend but also, gave me in depth advice about the pros and cons of doing so. Mrs Thanvi is the personal tutor to my son. My son enjoys coming to his study sessions with her. She is very caring and accommodating of my son. She is also kind and flexible with her time and teaching approach. Her assistance towards my son does not stop at the lesson. She has advised me on several extra-curricular activities to enable my son achieve the best academically.

My son would always come out of the lessons having worked very hard telling me of all the fun interesting conversations they had had about current affairs and anything they had seen or done.I completely trusted my son in her very capable hands and are very grateful for all her wonderful work and would definitely recommend her.

I have known Mrs Thanvi since October 2013 when she started 'tutoring' my daughter (aged 10) ahead of 11+ Exams.

Since then, she has worked closely with not just my daughter, but also with us as parents as part of the exam preparation.

She took time at the outset to understand what our objectives were, what areas of strength or weakness we though there may be, and to understand how we anticipated that learning process would develop.

Our daughter spends two hours a week with Mrs Thanvi, and we have constructive feedback after each session on what should be worked on.

Our daughter always leaves Mrs Thanvi's place happy that she is making progress, and is clearly also very comfortable in Mrs Thanvi's presence and in her home environment. Stress, tension or pressure do not feature, indeed we believe she looks forward to these lessons.

Mrs Thanvi has also been extremely helpful in providing details of suitable resources, websites etc which have been very useful.

We got our Son's recent school levels and he has moved up a level in maths. I feel the tutoring has played a big part in this improvement in a short time, so thanks for all your work with him.
