Professor Westgate is a superb instructor, dedicated, highly skilled, and passionate about his craft, learning from Professor Westgate was not only fun, but it helped me to appreciate the small things about Editing, and Color Grading. He always made time for me no matter what, and made sure to go over the material with me and break it down so that I could understand and master it.

TL is one of the best teachers out there. He really made the learning process fun! Which was huge for me because we were learning technical software like After Effects and Color Grading in Premier Pro. If you’re a first time user of these platforms, it can be very overwhelming. TL does an amazing job of breaking everything down for a beginner so that they have a good understanding of the process. You can tell that TL cares about each of his students and is willing to give his time and effort to make sure everyone succeeds. He’s extremely funny and a brilliant filmmaker! Having TL as one of my instructors was one of my favorite parts of being in school. So grateful for people like him!

TL is a genuine lover of filmmaking. He is the most personable and honest professor you could want on your side. His sense of humor gives it the final touch to truly learning and obtaining the skills needed to succeed in film. As an Alumnus with LA Film School, my time with TL has meant a lot, in and out of class, having worked on several film projects together. If you want to learn all things film- this is the guy.
