About Georgi
I’m Georgi ‘Jojo’ Dimitrov - a Bulgarian classical guitarist, graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London. I have delivered concerts at the Wigmore Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields Church, the St Bartholomew-the-Great, South Bank Centre’s Purcell Room, the Octagon Chapel and important stages in Europe (Stadtcasino Basel, Auditorio Nacional de Madrid, Bulgaria Hall Sofia). I became the first guitarist to ever deliver a concert at the BachFest in Leipzig.
Since 2023, I have recorded and released 3 albums, the last of which was for the London-based label Linn Records. Recently, I recorded for the Bulgarian National Radio, and my band ChASE will release a record with our own experimental music for guitar and drums soon! ((concealed information)
I have been a private teacher for 8 years. As a EuroStrings artist, I have taught masterclasses in multiple European Countries to people of all ages since I was 17-years-old. It is my passion to transfer my knowledge, because I believe connection to music is immensely valuable and beneficial for the development of all people! I say that as a lover of music, a scholar of music, and a professional performing musician.
My experience - as a student, performer, or recording musician - has helped me discover any difficulties that a student might have and fixing them efficiently, with care and encouragement. It is important to me that a student is never afraid of making mistakes, but learns from them as well.

I have taught masterclasses at festivals throughout Europe and have been a private teacher for the past 8 years. Having been a scholar of some of the world’s leading classical guitar professors, I’m keen to pass my knowledge to the next generations. Moreover, I consider it my mission!
Though classical guitar is my speciality, I can help you out in any genre you like - pop, rock, metal, etc! We will play and listen to music together to discover some of the gems of each style!
