About Balázs
I began my musical studies at the Music School of Budapest’s 1st District, where I trained in classical piano and solfeggio. After high school, I pursued further studies with Tamás Mohai, Attila Rieger, and Róbert Vargha, who prepared me for admission to university.
I graduated summa cum laude in jazz guitar in 2012, studying under Miklós Birta and Csaba Czirják. Since 2011, I have been working continuously as a private guitar teacher, as well as teaching instrument-independent music theory.
Alongside teaching, I have toured extensively across Europe as a guitarist in an internationally active band, performing at major festivals including Wacken Open Air (2014) and the Montreux Jazz Festival (2019).
In 2020, my more than ten years of teaching experience was recognized with the Artisjus Music Teacher Award.

Hello! I’m a multi–Fonogram Award–winning musician and an Artisjus Award–winning guitar teacher with over 15 years of experience.
My aim is to create a supportive, motivating environment where you have every opportunity to develop. In my lessons, I strive to be the teacher I wish I’d had when I first started playing.
A key part of my approach is letting you choose the songs you want to learn. This keeps motivation high while we work through the challenges that real progress requires. During each lesson, I create interactive Guitar Pro sheet music tailored to you, so you can practice effectively at home—loop sections, slow things down, and learn at your own pace with ease.
Lessons take place in a fully equipped, air-conditioned environment with a full set of instruments available. I teach all levels, from complete beginners to students preparing for jazz conservatory entrance exams.

Balázst pár éve ismertem meg, amikor kezdő gitárosként szerettem volna elsajátítani a zenei alapokat. Már az első óráktól kezdve érezhető volt, hogy nem sablonokban gondolkodik: mindig személyre szabottan, magas színvonalon készült, és az én tempómhoz, érdeklődésemhez igazította a tanulást. Intelligens, kiegyensúlyozott zenész, aki türelemmel és valódi odafigyeléssel fordul a tanítvànyai felé. Az órák nemcsak szakmailag voltak értékesek, hanem inspirálóak is - mindig motivált, hogy tovább fejlődjek. Megannyi zenei stílusban otthonosan mozog, és különleges érzéke van ahhoz, hogy akár a legegyszerűbb motívumokból is lenyűgöző hangzást hozzon létre. Jó szívvel ajánlom mindenkinek, aki nemcsak technikát szeretne tanulni, hanem valódi zenei látásmódot is.
Balázstól több, mint 10 éve tanulok gitározni, internetes hirdetésen találtam meg. Türelmes és nagy szakértelemmel rendelkezik, az órákon a komolyabb zeneelméleti ismeretektől kezdve bármilyen műfajú zene szóba kerülhet. Magad választhatod ki, milyen zenét szeretnél tanulni, ez nekem nagyon fontos volt.
