About Phila
I am a Varsity student, I am working on getting my teaching qualification to become a qualified teacher. I have always known that my career path will have to do with working with or around children and their development. Initially, my first option was to be a Social Worker and I realized that teaching would give me a chance to teach and work with children.

In my lessons I believe that the learners need to be guided and not be spoonfed with information. I believe in letting my learners make mistakes, then we can go through their mistakes and rectify them. I also do not believe in my learners being scared of me, I try by all means to make my learners feel comfortable. When learners fear their teacher this creates a negative classroom space where the learners are too scared to ask or to even make mistakes.
