About Joey
Hi! I’m Joey and I’m a 17 year old girl. :) I’ve been playing since 2017 and I mostly use guitar as a hobby and a way to help me sing, and I would consider myself a pretty solid player! Artists that have inspired me most to play are Taylor Swift, Paramore as well as Hayley Williams as a solo artist, Pierce the Veil, Phoebe Bridgers, The Frontbottoms, and probably any other band you would assume based off of those. This summer I’ll be turning 18 and I thought SuperProf would be a great way to help support myself going into adulthood. :)

I’m very well acquainted with the basics of acoustic guitar, and I can be very understanding with complete beginners and would love to help anyone feel more comfortable learning the instrument! The lessons I took myself when I was younger gave me a great understanding of what building blocks can give you a strong foundation to become a rockstar :) My teaching is meant to be a laid-back and comfortable environment for you. I would also love to hear of any accommodations needed!
