About İmge
İmge Yağmur Tiryaki was born in the Gerze district of Sinop in the year 2000. She began playing the flute at the age of 10. In 2014 she began her education in the music department
of Sinop Fine Arts High School. In 2018 she graduated from high school. During the same year, she began working on her first composition studies with Berkay Şirin. In 2019 she was accepted into the composition program at the Ankara University State Conservatory. She continues to study composition with Mert Karabey. She participated in masterclasses given by Gregor Hüebner, Mario Eritreo, Bülent Evcil and Raffaele Trevisani. She got 3rd place for the composition competition Kadikoy Municipality Opera House opened in 2021, for her piece "3 Movements for Violin and Piano", and got 2nd place for the same competition following year, for her piece "On the North Shore" for violincello and piano. She also became a finalist for the composition competition that BESOM opened for "piano music for children" in 2023.
