About Landon
I am an undergraduate student at the University of Arkansas pursuing a degree in chemistry with a concentration in biochemistry, as well as a degree in political science. In high school, I achieved a GPA of 4.33, ranked 10th out of 762 students, and earned a composite ACT score of 33. Recognized as an AP Scholar, I excelled in subjects such as AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP English courses, AP Calculus BC, and AP history/social science courses. I have earned the honor of achieving status on the Chancellor’s List for both semesters of my undergraduate career so far. My rigorous academic background equips me with a strong understanding of the subjects My well-rounded educational background includes advanced coursework in mathematics, sciences, humanities, and social sciences, equipping me with a deep understanding of the material I teach and the ability to tailor explanations to a variety of learning styles. Beyond academics, my leadership roles as a drum major, student ministry leader, and community volunteer have further enhanced my ability to connect with and mentor others. I have dedicated over 270 hours to community service, reinforcing my commitment to helping others succeed. I bring a strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and a student-centered approach to tutoring, ensuring that my sessions are both engaging and effective. My ultimate goal is to empower students to reach their full potential academically and beyond.

My tutoring experience began during my senior year of high school, where I provided one-on-one and online support to peers in high school and younger students in junior high/middle school. I have successfully guided students through subjects such as biology, ACT English, algebra, pre-calculus, AP United States History, and AP United States Government and Politics using individualized approaches that prioritize patience and clarity. My methods focus on building foundational understanding while providing strategies for problem-solving and test preparation.
