About Tarun
My name is Tarun Rao. I am a sophomore majoring in Bioengineering at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. In high school, I was a peer tutor and taught AP Calculus AB, Pre Calculus Honors, and Honors Biology. Currently in college, I am doing research at a professors lab and I am also part of consulting group on campus. In my free time I like to go to the gym, play basketball and tennis, and practice my violin.

As a tutor I would like to start each lesson by giving practice problems from the previous topic to act as a refresher. Next I will give a lesson on the subject at hand, explaining concepts, and answering any questions the student may have. Finally, I will give practice questions for the student. Somethings that set me apart as a tutor is my patience and going at the students pace. My lessons will be designed for students in high school. I was a peer tutor in high school and my clients found great success with my lesson plans and found lessons followed by practice problems to be a great help. I am also extremely flexible with my schedule and can always afford to give more help if needed.
