About Gareth
I have been a member of the Wantage Silver Band for over 20 years, progressing from beginners band to Championship level or the highest standard. I have taught several brass players and taken them successfully through grades. I have also conducted brass bands so know what it is like to both perform and be at the front. I graduated in Sound Technology and Digital Music from Oxford Brookes University in 2017 and have made numerous recordings of bands.

I am quite happy teaching any brass player from beginners to more advanced and can tailor my teaching to meet their needs. I would generally assess the player first, then ask what they wish to get out of their lessons and finally make a practice schedule for them.
