About Mariah
I am a registered nurse (former CNA and then LPN) with 6 years of experience in ICU, home health, pediatrics and outpatient settings. Too often we hear that nurses "eat their young". I think it is important to support new nurses by helping them to learn the information and skills that make them safe, competent nurses.

A major source of stress that I experienced in nursing school was not having a full grasp of the concepts due to not being able to see the "big picture". I would like to help current and future students to have an easier time in nursing school by breaking down larger concepts into fundamentals and explaining rationales and applications to real world nursing.
My teaching style is to tailor learning to the specific student.Once I identify your personal learning style, I am better able to provide support and encouragement in the areas needed.
These lessons will not only help you while in nursing school, but also in preparing for the NCLEX.
