About Julie
I am a French Teacher and francophone. I learned French at an early age, have a degree from Cal Berkeley. I have taught French for 6 yrs. I prefer a spoken approach with vocab and grammar as focal and centering points. I am open to helping with assignments given by another teacher or state school provided the student presents the work and clarifies what help is required. I approach topics based primarily on their position in the hierarchy of importance in the development of speaking or "knowing" French. My teaching style combines examples and realistic scenarios with some textual practice. Walking before running. I have a decent knowledge of French literature. Hope to hear from you.
