About GIOVANNY
Bilingual private instructor and mentor specializing in California’s California Department of Developmental Services Self-Determination Program (SDP), providing personalized support for neurodiverse adults in both English and Spanish. Specialized in working with individuals with Autism Level 1 and Down Syndrome, with a strong focus on independence, confidence building, adaptive life skills, community integration, and supportive real-world learning experiences. Specialized driving lessons designed for neurodiverse adults, including individuals with Autism Level 1 and Down Syndrome, focused on building safe driving habits, confidence, independence, decision making, road awareness, emotional regulation, and real world community navigation skills. Lessons are personalized to each individual’s learning style and comfort level, with patient step by step guidance in both English and Spanish.
Sessions may include parking, traffic navigation, freeway exposure, DMV preparation, anxiety reduction strategies, community transportation skills, and adaptive support for executive functioning challenges. Lessons are available in person throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
Depending on the participant’s goals and approved spending plan, services may potentially be funded through California’s California Department of Developmental Services Self Determination Program (SDP) when connected to independence, community integration, transportation training, or adaptive skill development goals.
