About Kingston
I am a 32yo postgraduate astrophysics researcher at the University of Cambridge, who grew up in Bath, UK, but has travelled and lived in over 25 different countries. I am most interested in physics and philosophy, and when I'm not doing astrophysics research, I'm reading and writing about the world (and universe!) we live in. I finished my A-levels with average grades, hating education. But after travelling for a couple of years, I realised I actually loved learning-- it was *how* subjects were taught, that I didn't like. So I studied Physics & Philosophy at the University of Leeds, and after graduating with a 1st, moved onto a postgraduate here at Cambridge.

Maths and Physics make up the language of the universe, and although challenging, should be exciting to study. My teachers at school put me off when I was young, but I returned to physics for my undergraduate aged 24 and have loved it ever since. That's why I understand much better than most that every student is different, and both learns and is motivated in their own unique way. So, if you or your child are looking for enjoyable lessons, that are both motivating and ensure you're on track to good grades, look no further! I have been a tutor and teacher to small classes in maths, physics, and English for 2+yrs, and I'm happy teaching all ages and levels. Lessons are typically 30-60 minutes, and can be simple homework help through to exam preparation, as you need. All I need is a couple of days warning so I can prepare.
