About Norah
Hi! My name is Norah and I have just completed A levels. My interests are broad; I love learning about different languages (particularly French and German), psychology and mathematics. My main passion is music. I have been studying the clarinet since I was 5 and picked up the drums more recently. I listen to a variety of genres, and my favourites at the moment are hard rock and jazz. I would describe myself as optimistic and ambitious, and I am hoping to study music at Cambridge this September.
As a tutor, I am engaging and reliable, and I endeavour to give high quality service to all my tutees.

Each tutee is different, so I strive to tailor lessons to each individual I work with based on what they are looking for, particularly as I offer lessons in a few areas of music. I do lessons both online and in-person, and they can range from 30 minutes to an hour in length.
I offer lessons in A level Music appraising, music theory and instrumental lessons for clarinet and drum kit up to grade 5 standard. I can teach other areas of music if previously discussed.
I have 11 GCSEs all at grade 9, and have just completed A levels, including Music, in which I am predicted three A*s. On top of this I have achieved grade 5 theory , as well as grade 8 in clarinet and 6 in drums.
In the past I have provided clarinet lessons as part of the DofE program, and have also tutored GCSE students, preparing them for their French exam. I have also babysat both primary and secondary age children, so am confident working with young people of all ages.
