About Ivan
I have been drawing and sketching since I was 2. I also have a 5 year diploma in the fine arts where I was trained in drawing, sketching, painting and sculpting. During my B.A. in art history, my coursework also included all of these fine arts and I also won a 2nd prize in a painting competition at college. I like to draw animals, figures, portraits, even automobiles and I sculpt with wire and clay sometimes.

I can teach a student through lecture and demonstration but would be more interested in a discussion based class. I am primarily interested in teaching fundamental tools for drawing and sketching to beginners, using different mediums like pen, pencil and charcoal etc. My attempt will be to teach students to look carefully and get comfortable and confident in drawing and sketching human and animal figures, objects etc. using different techniques and methods.
