About Anjali
Hi! I’m Pushpanjali — a fashion design student, Carnatic music lover, gym freak, and an art enthusiast who’s deeply into live sketching. Self-expression is at the heart of everything I do. Carnatic music has been my release, my way of grounding myself. I’ve been through the phase of singing to please others, changing my style to fit in — and I never felt truly me in that space. Now, I sing for myself. Music, like fashion or art, is my language. It’s how I express who I am inside. Whether it’s through the mic, the pencil, or the gym floor, I believe in owning your journey and honoring what makes you feel alive.

As a teacher, I focus first on making the student feel comfortable with their own voice — that’s where the journey begins. I help them get confident singing basic notes before diving deeper. My classes usually begin with a little bit of history and light theory to give context and meaning to what we’re learning.
I believe the basics are incredibly important, but I also understand they can feel repetitive. So, to keep the learning engaging, I teach simple songs alongside the exercises. This gives students a sense of accomplishment early on and keeps their motivation alive.
My classes are open to all ages — whether you're a child, a college student, or an adult. You're never too young or too old to start singing. I want my students to feel that music is something they do for themselves — not for perfection, but for joy and heart's fulfillment.
