About Mela
My name is Mela Bracken, and I have been in the fitness industry for over 30 years. I have always had a passion for Yoga, and helping people. In 2019, like many others, I found myself jobless.... I decided to take it as a sign that I needed to finish my Yoga Masters, and I did :). I am a spiritual person, and I believe we all have special gifts, I use Yoga to peel back the layers, and to help students discover their true potential. I teach a wide variety of levels from beginner to advanced. I have clients that range from 82-year-old first-timers to 22-year-old, elite athletes. Yoga is about you and where you are today... I teach students to start looking from within-- to reach the best versions of themselves. Each lesson starts with a warm-up evaluation. We start to align the mind and body with breath, and then start the intention of the practice. Each individual has different needs on any given day, and it is my purpose to help students through any challenges and help them reach their potential.
