About Rafaela
Hi! My name is Rafaela, I'm from Porto Alegre (Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil). I love studying languages and teaching: I'm a polyglot, I have a teaching degree in languages and I've been a teacher for almost eight years now. I've had students from more than five countries and I love learning about their cultures.

My lessons use communicative approach, which means we'll focus on real-life communication. Besides that, I always use culture, entertainment, current issues and interests of each student to plan lessons.
I have seven years of experience as a private teacher and a BA in languages with a teaching qualification from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). During my undergraduate studies, I was a teacher and researcher in the university's Portuguese for Foreigners Program.
I teach Portuguese for all levels and ages. I also prepare students for Brazilian Portuguese proficiency exams, such as Celpe-Bras.
