As a certified parent and family educator with the Positive Discipline Association, and certified leadership and kids life coach with the John Maxwell Team, and past experience as a family therapist. Kids learn:
* how to handle the ups and downs of growing up without getting down on themselves.
* How to handle mistakes and disappointments without giving up on themselves.
* How to think for themselves, make good decisions, and stand up to peer pressure
The child development life coaching is focused on the brain, character development and self leadership for kids ages 7 through 11 years old.
I use stories to help children get in touch with thoughts and feelings without putting them on the spot or embarrassing them. The story gives children a chance to experience the skill through the situation the characters are facing and that opens the door for them to apply it to their own lives with the help of coaching and activities to practice and master a positive growth mindset.
