About Harmony
I am a certified high school math teacher in the state of Massachusetts . I have experience teaching algebra, trigonometry, and pre-calculus subjects. Building supportive and encouraging relationships with students is one of my number goals as a teacher. High school math can be a stressful subject to learn, but it is possible and worth the time. My focus as an educator is always on solidifying foundational and problem solving skills so that students can apply their knowledge to new and complicated problems as they progress through their academic careers. To be successful in math you need to understand concepts and structure, practice precision, and develop your problem solving skills. As an expert in my subject and in pedagogy, I can curate lessons that hit all of those targets.

Harmony teaches math, a subject she truly enjoys, in a way that is supportive and relatable. She has years of experience and has shared several moving moments. She really cares.
I met Harmony because she was my downstairs neighbor. She had always been very nice and very sweet to me. I was taking Spanish and failing essentially every test and every quiz. With dedication and work on both mine and Harmony’s part, she got my grade from a 52 to a 74 in just a few weeks. I started to really learn things because of the articulate way she trains your mind to understand and REMEMBER things. Honestly, it was exciting to go see her too. Yes, I absolutely was learning, but it was totally a hangout with a friend and her adorable cats lol. We ate snacks and maybe snuck in a little gossip. Without Harmony’s dedication and pure friendliness, I’d STILL be taking Spanish. I highly recommend her; she’s wonderful. Happy tutoring!!!
