About Donatus
As a professional pianist, musicologist, and piano instructor with over a decade of experience, I specialize in helping students develop strong technique, creativity, confidence, and musical expression. I hold multiple music certifications from the MUSON School of Music and currently serve as an organist in Catholic churches in Lagos.
Over the years, I have successfully prepared students for musical examinations, with several achieving distinctions in their results. My lessons are personalized, engaging, and suitable for children, teenagers, and adults at different skill levels.
I believe music is more than just playing notes, it is expression, creativity, and communication. My teaching approach combines technical excellence with musical artistry, helping students not only become better pianists but more confident musicians overall.

My piano lessons are carefully tailored to suit each student’s age, level, learning style, and musical goals. I combine practical piano performance with essential music theory, ear training, technique, memorization, sight-reading, and creativity to help students develop into confident and well-rounded musicians.
Lessons are engaging, structured, and encouraging, creating a comfortable learning environment where students can grow steadily while enjoying the process of making music. I also help students prepare for recitals, auditions, examinations, church performances, and personal musical development.
As a certified music graduate and professional pianist specializing in Piano Performance, I have experience performing at recitals and training students for successful performances and musical examinations, with some students achieving distinctions in their results.
Lessons typically last between 30 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the student’s level and goals. I teach students from age 5 upwards, from complete beginners to more advanced learners, with every lesson personalized to maximize progress and musical confidence.
