About Talia
Hi!
My name is Talia Mai and I'm a recent Musical Theatre Graduate from the Royal Academy of Music.
I am trained in Drama and Voice, but also trained as a teacher! (Licenciate from the Royal Academy of Music)
Before attending the Academy, I studied Sustainability Sciences in Paris and was part of an MT society : the Do's Musical. I performed on stage (Ellen in Bullets Over Broadway) but also coached 10 soloists in singing and acting through song. This experience was so incredible and enriching that I've decided to pursue both my performance and my teaching career simultaneously :)

I have a teaching certificate from the Royal Academy of Music (LRAM) and experience with Estill and the Modern Singer Technique (MST). I enjoy adapting both of these methods to the needs of my student.
I teach and have experience with all singing levels (from beginners to intermediate and beyond).
I believe that vocal coaching and song interpretation are inextricable, and I aim to work on technique as well as acting through song, rep (or how to develop a rep book of song that fit you) and audition techniques.
Previous students can attest to my patience, my encouragement and my sense of humor, but also in the tremendous progress they all made :)
