About Anika
Yoga is a spiritual, mental and physical practice that has many wide-reaching benefits: from a calmer mind to a stronger, more flexible body. Originating in India, the word yoga means to ‘yoke’ or union. With regular practice, it does just that, leaving the individual feeling more balanced. Initially I started practicing yoga due to my health issues and obesity, overtime I have reaped not only the physical but the mental benefits too.
I have done my 200 hours of teacher training from Rishikesh, India followed by 900 hours of advance teacher training.
I am also certified as a Chakra meditation instructor.
I have been teaching for two years now, and absolutely love doing so. In that moment and space I feel at home. I would love to teach anyone and everyone that would like to try this out, and I promise to make it fun!! :) :)

Yoga is a wide subject and practicing relaxation techniques, meditation, pranayamas is as important as doing the asanas. Asanas is for your body and other techniques for the mind, and as a wise person once said; healthy mind, healthy body.
