About Joseph
I am a 3rd Year Chemical Engineering student in MTU Cork. I have a keen interest in chemistry & maths, which is why i chose the course.
Outside of college, I play hurling & football with my local GAA club. I also love to go to the gym most days in the week.

I have 2 years experience teaching leaving cert Chemistry, as well as Junior cert Science & Maths.
With teaching, i find 1 size never fits all. It is all about understanding how each student learns and approaching every lesson with a goal, delivering a lesson in a way in which a student can gain the most from it.
I have always tried to use easy relatable ideas and concepts when teaching, especially with chemistry, as the concepts in the subject are very abstract to a student at the beginning. Understanding the concept at the beginning, followed by a number of example problems is how i find my students learn the most from a lesson.
