About Wes
My fascination with Chemistry started through an interest in how matter changes and interacts. After completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, I began helping students understand scientific concepts through personalised and supportive instruction. I now have 5 years of teaching experience.
I believe successful learning happens when students feel comfortable and motivated. My teaching approach focuses on clear explanations, structured lessons, and adapting to individual needs. Every student receives guidance designed to support steady academic growth.
Outside teaching, I enjoy following developments in chemical research and industrial science. These interests help me connect lessons to real-world applications and current discoveries. Helping students gain confidence and appreciation for Chemistry is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work.

My Chemistry lessons focus on helping students understand how substances behave, interact, and transform. We cover atomic structure, chemical bonding, stoichiometry, equilibrium, organic chemistry, and reaction processes using simple explanations and practical examples. I emphasise understanding concepts so students can confidently apply them in different situations.
Each lesson combines theory with guided practice and problem-solving activities. Students learn how to approach calculations, interpret scientific information, and strengthen their reasoning skills. Lessons are adapted to suit different learning styles and academic objectives.
I aim to create a positive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and explore ideas. As their understanding improves, they become more confident when solving challenging Chemistry problems. My goal is to make the subject both accessible and enjoyable.
