Mrs. MacLean was my chemistry teacher and vice principal at my high school in Budapest, Hungary. Her classes were always engaging and highly interactive, with lively discussions on various interesting and relevant topics. What truly set her apart, however, was her warm and empathetic approach. She has incredible professional language skills and a unique ability to connect with students, making even the most challenging scientific subjects enjoyable and understandable. Her passion and expertise for teaching in both the International Baccalaureate (IB) and other educational systems is also truly impressive. I have always been fascinated by her ability to inspire students, who previously lacked interest in the sciences, to develop a genuine passion for them. Moreover, no matter what question or concern I had, she was always available to offer guidance and support.
As vice principal, Mrs. MacLean was also an exceptional mentor for me, who took a genuine interest in her students’ well-being and academic progress. Her door was always open, and she was always willing to help or encourage others. As a result, I would recommend Mrs. MacLean to anyone looking for an excellent lecturer and mentor!

Mrs. Maclean was my teacher through Higher Level biology in the IB and she was one of my favourite teachers for sure. Her teaching style is highly interactive where she includes all her students with plenty of questions and is even more open to questions from the students. She teaches as if it were a conversation instead of a lecture to an empty room, which was my favourite thing. She pays attention to her students and helps out with any questions about biology or anything else she can help in.

Mrs. Maclean was my general chemistry teacher as well as my higher level biology teacher in the International Baccalaureate diploma program. I think very highly of her as a teacher and as a person. She cares about her students and is able to convey learning material in a way which shows her thorough understand and insight into the topics. I would highly recommend her to any other students, not only because you will learn a lot from her, but she will also help you enjoy your learning experience.

Maclean is an incredible teacher who has helped guide me through four years of strenuous high school biology courses with ease and a unique style that makes any and all of her classes worth attending. Her knowledge and passion in the subject exceeds only biology as she is well versed in chemistry as well. Whether in person or online, she always made us understand the material, not just learn it which is why I recommend her to any interested people on Superprof.
